DJ STICKY

 DJ Sticky (BlueJay Hankins) is the stable DJ, CEO, Co-founder, Producer and driving force behind Sick Donkey Records.   Sticky was born into a life of music and festivals in the highlands of Okanogan County located in the north central part of Washington state, USA.  

 After acquiring an array of instruments but mastering none, Sticky started DJing on a friends turntables while living in Seattle in 2002 and never looked back.  He has since mastered a diverse set of DJ and MC skills.   
 
Sticky eventually started producing music and has gone on to produce tracks with artist like Junior Reid, Lutan Fyah, Mykal Rose, Turbulence, Mark Wonder, Micah Shemaiah, Promoe, Chezidek, Amlak Redsquare, Gavinchi Brown and many many more.  
 
Through producing and releases songs on his Sick Donkey Records label he has worked with musicians like Squidly Cole, Earl "Chinna" Smith, Sly & Robbie, Chris Meredith, Bill Ortiz.  

DJ Sticky has been mashing up Barns, Fields, House Parties, Clubs, Bars, Fundraisers, Festivals and Bicycle races as well as Snowboard, Snow-skate, Ski and Skateboard competitions from the cities to the country of the pacific NW now for well over 10 years.  
 
Notable performances in recent years include: Acavallo art car at Burning Man, Tuff Gong International Showcase in LA, NW Folklife Festival, Seattle Hempfest, Conscious Culture Festival, Tonasket Barter Faire & NW Roots Fest.  

Bluejay founded the Conscious Culture Festival, a multi-genre music festival that brought together music, art & education that promotes equality, sustainability, justice, healthy living, organic farming and an all around conscious lifestyle to Okanogan County for 6 years.
